Monthly TCC

Yesterday, I had done a T.C.C. So what is a TCC anyway. A TCC is a monthly tough closet clean up. Its basically a closet which is used for multi- purposes. Lets take my closet for instance. It acts as a linen closet, utility closet, laundry supplies, bath soaps, lotions, and a few other things that really doesn't go in the linen department. The closet acts as a space where to put things that not yet, has a home. So here is a really good tip to use when you have space that is used like this one. Take five minutes and go through to see what items can be used up before the end of the month. Example: In my closet, I have found a travel size shampoo and conditioner I have received as a gift from my handsome boyfriend one year. I don't travel so I wont be saving it for that reason so I pulled it out and put it in my bathroom so the next time I have a bathing session, I can use it. I recommend making time at least one a month to do this so you don't get overstocked on things you don't really use.

Cookie Bakers

When I bake cookies, especially peanut butter cookies, the dough gets stuck on the spoon/ice cream scooper. So what I have found to work for this situation is to spray your spoon/ice cream scooper, or what ever you use, with non stick cooking spray. Then I cover the inside of the scooper and the outside with flour. It works great! Not only is it easier but makes for a happier baker.

When Times Get Rough

Okay so we have good times and bad times. Some times the bad seems very bad which it could be worse as we try and think of worse things that could happen. Sometimes we may read in to something that may or may not be there. So when he have rough times, we go to our support team, like family and friends. Well, tonight, I have called up a very dear from of mine, got a few things off my chest that was bothering me and her response was very clever if you ask me. She said, let it pass like gas. Well, ok....... with that said. Toot Toot!! And you know, shes right. Not only did it remind of me, of not to let things get to me, but she made me laugh which made me feel better. She is amazing!!

At Home Skin Care Remedies

I have found some amazing and I mean amazing tips on Doing It Yourself Natural Beauty regimens. They are budget friendly, and you can get the supplies at your grocery store. I am in love with this e-book. Here are a few I tried, and they feel great! The best part of having these at home, budget friendly remedies, is that you can throw a pamper party with all of your girlfriends to try these. LOVE!! ***Please make sure to do a patch test for any allergic reactions that may occur before going crazy over these tips.***

Okay ladies, tomatoes is not just for meals. It can be used for your beautiful skin. Yes, you read that right, your skin. All you have to do is peel and finely chop up a tomato and spread that bad boy on your face. The benefits of using a tomato, is it is good for a gentle cleanser as well as it helps to tighten pores.

Here is another great tip. Soak gauze in green tea and apply to your face as you would toner. Lets give those beautiful faces a nice pampering session.

My favorite. If you love that one, you are going to love this one. Pull out your honey and a teaspoon of water. Add one tablespoon of honey to your water and heat in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Let it cool and apply to your lips for about 15 minutes. Then rinse. Scoot over Burt's Bees. Talk about smooth lips.

Lets dry out the un-welcomed flaws that comes and goes. Drop a teaspoon of honey in a dish and use a cotton swab and dab over the pimple to dry it out. Do this a few times a week, until gone.

Lets iron out those wrinkles. Take half of a papaya and a ½ tablespoon of honey. Apply in the areas you want to iron out and let it set for about a good 12 minutes. Then rinse, rinse, and rinse.

Getting the job you want

So are you struggling to land a job or even getting the job you want? This is what I found that works. First off, make a list of the companies you want to work. Next, call them up and ask the manager on duty to meet with you for an informational interview. Next, drive to the company a couple of days before to not only look for the company but to go inside and see how the employees are dressed. Look at the clothing, shoes, see if there hair is pulled back, are they wearing open or closed shoes, do they have a uniform they are wearing, if so, then look at the colors. Do they have tattoos or any piercing visible, things like that. Next, go home and pick out your clothing. If you need to go to the store and buy something to look like you are an employee who works for so and so company, then do it!

Here is an example of my experience. One summer I had taken an R.O.P class in Hotel and Hospitality Services, which I loved. The class was instructed to choose two companies to learn about. I chose, Marriott, and Holiday Inn. Next, we had to schedule an informational interview with the manager of the department we were interested in. So I choose front desk clerk at the Holiday Inn and Catering Department at the Marriott. I had to write ten questions I wanted to ask. Then I went to the location and I went inside and looked around to get a feel of the energy, and what the employees were wearing. I have noticed at the Marriott they had black suits on closed shoes, and their hair was pulled back. At the Holiday Inn, they had a green polo shirt that had Holiday Inn engraved on the left corner of the shirt and wore khaki pants, I think it was at the time. Some employees had their hair pulled back and some didn't. So when I got home, I got my outfits together, the Marriott I wore my hair pulled back and I wore a black pant suit. For the Holiday Inn, I wore a green polo shirt with khaki pant. I looked like one of them. Not only does that show you are interested in getting information about the company and their job but also says, hey I'm one of you. Its a great way to better your chances of getting a job/getting a job you want. Lastly, one day after the informational interview, send a Thank You Note.
